Personality[]
Abby is portrayed as a heavyset self conscious romantic. For Allison Tollman's two-episode stint, she seems kind and self-aware, but does not allow herself to be pushed around by Peter. Peter denies his feelings for Abby, as she was portrayed by Tamra to be akin to "a twin". After being clued in regarding Peter's embarrassment of her, Abby expresses that he himself is the one who is shallow and unworthy of a potential relationship. Peter ultimately regrets his decision to hide her from his peers and begins to cultivate feelings for Abby. Tollman reprises her role as Abigail Herman for a mere two episodes in the series.
